Dream Thinking
I think about you day and night, and dream of when I’ll hold you tight,
I know I will when timings right, so I relax and will not fight.
I sit to eat and take a bite, but foods not on my mind tonight.
So off to my room and out with the light.
I lay down my head and call it a night.
I close both my eyes, with all of my might,
And picture your smile shining so bright.
my mind takes me back I remember the sight,
of your beautiful face in the soft candlelight.
You lift up my heart and give to it flight,
clear up to the sky like a runaway kite.
My head fills with pleasure, you bring much delight,
When thinking of you near asleep, but not quite.
